Yes it is true! I popped on February 11! It has been a crazy fun/amazing month! Our little Abbie is already one month old and growing and learning every day! Her favorite thing to do is to cuddle on mommy or daddy's chest. She looks like both of us, she is a good mix! We feel so blessed to have Abbie in our lives, she truly is our little sunshine!! It is an indescribable feeling when you see your baby for the first time and hold her in your arms. And to NAME her! IT is still crazy to me that we chose her name, and that's her name for life! We did not go with either name we were thinking we looked at her and both thought, she doesn't look like a Kallie or a Laynie. and so we called her our little Sweet Pea until a day later, when we decided her name was to be Abigail. No we do not plan on only having A names, it is just how her name worked out. Being parents is full of hard work, but it is the most rewarding thing you'll ever do. Yes we have some very long nights or long days, but most of the time she is a very nice little baby to us. She smiles so much in her sleep and smiled for the first time a few days ago with her eyes open. She loves to look out the window and stares at the sun (which makes her sneeze) its so funny!
Austin has been very busy trying to find the balance between being a daddy, provider and student, but I'd say he's doing a great job! He is already wrapped around Abbie's little finger. He loves to have her cuddle on his chest with her head right under his chin, and she does too.
He is very excited to bless Abbie in April 8th.
Alayne is just busy being a mommy and trying to do a good job. I'm only taking one online class so it has been good to be able to adjust to mommy life. Abbie and I went to the store this past week for the first time! We also were able to go to church yesterday and hear daddy give a talk and a lesson!
